Andy’s running the New Forest Marathon for MapAction

Andy Murdock is running the New Forest multi-terrain Marathon on the 9th September in aid of MapAction, a UK based charity that provides mapping support to humanitarian relief efforts. Andy commented “As a geographer, it’s really impressive for me to see how MapAction use maps and geographical information to help save lives following natural and other disasters; helping assess the damage, identifying those affected and providing information that helps coordinate the response.
